The answer is hidden in the word art itself.
Just like the term itself. It requires not only a good dose of creativity, but also a sense of aesthetics, imagination, passion, constant development and renewal, as well as a free spirit. The artist was born in 1986 in Slovakia as a child of the 90s in a family in which art was not a foreign concept. Like her mother, her father also had a flair for art, which led her to have the courage to express her creativity on a piece of paper. As a child, she attended art school and later chose the creative path of fashion design and art. Having studied art history, her passion for art remains unbroken to this day. She has passionately learned about the greatest and most admired history of art. This has not changed since then. This is also one of the reasons why she is one of those artists who have not just decided on one direction but has taken different paths. Like every artist, she has also gone through a development, changing facets so that she can best express her inner senses and feelings in art. She is currently studying art therapy and supports other artists. She has taken on the position of gallery manager and curator in the heart of Vienna, where she has put together a unique selection of artworks that has gone far beyond the borders of the country.
All in the spirit of offering one-of-a-kind art for everyone. Transparent, with joy, quality, and above all with harmonious collaboration with 24 artists at once. As an artist she is active in three directions, namely the following:
OUR CHILDHOOD-HERO'S:
SNOOPY AND WOODSTOCK
GARFIELD
MARVEL & DC
POPEYE
DISNEY
LOONEY TUNES
& MORE
Calla is not just a stage name. Calla stands for self-identity, presenting ourselves transparently, simply showing our true side. To be motivated by our childhood heroes. Calla works of art are recognizable. Often, play with soft pastel colors in a neon mix that stimulates our senses in a positive direction. For all cases, fit into any interior and ready to deliver good mood. Uniqueness is often found in the combination of pop motifs with cool collages, all in a fresh street-pop style. Yes, Calla calls her style Street-Pop. It's very easy to explain why her customers get addicted to her art. She mostly prioritizes motifs from our childhood that were our superheroes back then. She grew up as a child in 90' . It speaks for itself.
"Whether it's just a line or a part, a personality of myself, is an open question. It's mainly memories of my childhood. It results in characters that colored my time at that time dearer and funnier. That's why I, as Calla, want to bring joy and good humor into your home."
We are talking here about a fine line that is very subtle, yet very expressive. Colors make our lives more colorful and stimulate them. They bring joy and control our mood. Each has its own meaning, and that in combination with interior design and textures is simply phenomenal!
“I love textures, they always remind me that our world is so unique and beautiful! My inspiration is nature itself”.
This line consists exclusively of limited edition collections. It's delicate and not irritating. It has a certain lightness, gorgeous color combination. It is as if the colors should dance with each other and want to explode in certain points where a structure is formed.
“Photography is my greatest passion at the moment. I love the details that are often hidden in an overall concept and are not visible at first glance. People rarely catch my eye, it's more the aesthetics, the play of colors, the lines, beautiful historical buildings or Mother Nature. With my photographic art, I want to show how I see the world and why we should appreciate it! ”
It's like a chain reaction. Everything is connected. I love the connection between interior design and art. The best thing about it is that all three of my cradles fit together and bring the rooms to life.
